The PTA has a successful history in advocating for children locally, statewide, and nationally and we look forward to discussing current issues affecting our children.

Our purpose for hosting this event is to provide the opportunity to increase our members’ understanding of the democratic process and the issues affecting children and schools. All state elected officials representing constituents living in the Springfield Public Schools district are being invited and given an equal opportunity to participate in this event.

This will be a question-and-answer forum, not a debate.  Each panelist will be given equal time to give a brief introduction and a response to each question posed by a moderator.  We will take additional questions from the audience if time permits.
