Join Us for Live Zoom Meeting

Hello Springfield PTAs! We are working for you to bring you information on how to move your units forward during this time. We know you have many questions (as do we😄) and we are planning a Facebook live on Wednesday April 1, 2020,  at 1:00pm to hopefully answer some of those questions. Follow our SCPTA FACEBOOK Page as other announcements are forthcoming. We hope you and your families are well. See you soon!

Our policy is that if SPS schools are closed for students, SCPTA events are cancelled.  Unfortunately this also means that services at the PTA Clothing Bank are halted until further notice.  Please follow our PTA CLOTHING BANK FACEBOOK page for up-to-date Clothing Bank specific information.

For District news on closings, GRAB & GO meals, and online learning (beginning March 30) please see the SPS website:

GRAB & GO meals are available for pick up at every SPS school 9:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m., Monday through Friday and are available for anyone ages 18 and under.

VOLUNTEERS during COVID-19 – While the district appreciates PTA leaders who want to volunteer, right now they have paid district employees staffing childcare facilities at Fremont, Gray, Sequiota, and Sherwood elementary schools for healthcare, first responders, and eligible SPS employees.

At this time they do not have the need of additional volunteer support and encourage individuals interested, to volunteer with community agencies.

SPS is continually assessing the need for volunteers.

For the latest district news, visit the SPS website or follow SPS on Facebook.

Keep up with NATIONAL PTA on their website or Facebook.  National PTA has great resources for PTA leaders including COVID-19 and eLearning for PTA Leaders.
