Awards Presented at the May 13 SCPTA Annual Meeting!

SCPTA Unit Awards

White Ribbon Award – qualifies for a $100 C.A.R.E./McBride Grant

To earn this award, units must meet the following by March 31, 2026:

  1. Have at least one unit representative attend the September, November, January, and March SCPTA Council Meetings.
  2. Complete 4 cumulative hours of volunteer service at the PTA Clothing Bank.
  3. Be in good standing, including:
    • MOPTA and SCPTA dues paid
    • Bylaws updates submitted to MOPTA (if due)
    • 2023–2024 financial audit and End-of-Year Forms submitted
    • 2024–2025 990 tax form submitted
    • Unit officers’ contact info submitted to MOPTA and SCPTA

Blue Ribbon Award – qualifies for a $100 C.A.R.E./McBride Grant plus a $50 SCPTA Grant

Units must meet all White Ribbon criteria, plus:

  1. Complete 8 cumulative hours of volunteer service at the PTA Clothing Bank
  2. Sponsor a school-based PTA Reflections contest

SCPTA Membership Awards

Memberships must be reported and dues paid to MOPTA by March 15, 2026. Awards are based on percentage growth over the previous year:

  • Platinum Award: 120% or more of last year’s membership
  • Gold Award: 110% or more
  • Silver Award: 105% or more
  • Bronze Award: At least one more member than last year
