Awards Presented at the May SCPTA Annual Meeting!

SCPTA Unit Awards

SCPTA Unit of Excellence Award

Units will qualify for the SCPTA Unit of Excellence Award if they meet the following qualifications by March 31, 2027:

  1. Have at least one unit representative attend the September, November, January, and March SCPTA Council Meetings.
  2. Complete 8 cumulative hours of volunteer service at the PTA Clothing Bank.
  3. Be in good standing, including:
    • MOPTA and SCPTA dues paid
    • Bylaws updates submitted to MOPTA (if due)
    • 2025–2026 financial audit and End-of-Year Forms submitted by December 1, 2026
    • 2025–2026 990 tax form submitted by December 1, 2026
    • Unit officers’ contact info submitted for the upcoming school year to MOPTA and SCPTA by March 31, 2027

SCPTA Membership Awards

Memberships must be reported and dues paid to MOPTA by March 31, 2027. Awards are based on percentage growth over the previous year:

  • Membership Masters Award – PTAs that have the most members (Elementary, K-8, Middle and High School levels)
  • Membership Momentum Award – Top membership percentage increases (Elementary, K-8, Middle and High School levels)
